Land Acquisition Associate

Job Description
Solar Philippinesis hiring Land Acquisition Associate who will handle the land and lot acquisition process from identifying specific opportunities to closing, communicate and cultivate relationships with outside brokers, developers and land owners to identify specific subdivisions and raw land tracts for acquisition, and shepherd acquisition process by coordinating in a timely manner with development department personnel as well as personnel from other company departments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Do initial site inspection of properties offered or identified by the company feasible
for solar farm projects.
2. Locating landowners and do initial contact.
3. Keep the established relationships with landowners as well as the community and
local community leaders.
4. Mapping / Securing maps from the local agencies (Assessors Office, CENRO,
NIA, etc) of the company’s area of interest.
5. Act as local coordinator for Land Acquisition in setting-up meetings with
landowners and barangay officials.
6. Assist in the conduct of due diligence ---------- sired Skills and Experience

Under Graduate/Bachelor's degree
With at least working experience in field
Should have close relationships with brokers, developers, city officials and land owners.
Ability to work effectively with development department personnel.
Ability to complete tasks on short notice under extreme time constraints. Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks.
Ability to organize, manage time effectively, evaluate alternative properties and courses of action and decide appropriate action in complex situations with multiple variables, and meet deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to travel within assigned geographic territory.
Should be driven, street smart and hardworking.
