Video Editing for Birthday Video

I am putting together a video for my father's birthday. I have asked about 20 of his friends to send me short (15 to 90 sec) videos of themselves wishing him a happy birthday. I need someone to edit all of the videos into a single movie file and to create appropriate transitions, ensure that sound quality is consistent, etc...

I will have collected all the videos by early March and will need the job completed in about 1 week. This should be a relatively easy assignment.
