Looking for a Web Developer with solid WordPress skills and a passion for code

I'm looking for a developer with a good demonstrable history working with WordPress. The right candidate will:

- Have awesome custom WordPress theme development experience
- Be familiar with writing WordPress plugins
- Have intermediate Javascript coding skills
- Have intermediate/advanced PHP coding skills
- Have great HTML and SCSS skills
- Be comfortable working with task runners (Gulp, Laravel Mix)
- Be able to work in AEST time slot (some overlap is ok – we can work that out)
- Have a desire to learn new skills

I'm really looking for someone who can handle site maintenance and development tasks on existing sites as well as the development of new sites both custom builds and working with page builders such as Elementor and Oxygen Builder.

If you have experience working with Laravel, that's a big advantage as I have some Laravel apps that I'll be looking for assistance on as well.

This position is initially a part-time role but I'll be looking to give the right person full-time as soon as that becomes feasible.

The work will definitely vary as you might be testing plugin updates one day, handling support another, and then building UI components for a page builder system the next.
