PHP Developer

• Experience in building custom WordPress Themes, Plugins and Widgets
• (Experience building Plugins and Widgets from scratch is Required)
• Experience with JavaScript/jQuery, PHP, MySQL, and WordPress in a development role.
• Proficiency in web design technologies including HTML5 and CSS.
• Experience in key web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and PHP. (Plugins and Widgets from scratch is a MUST)
• Extensive skills in PHP, XHTML, HTML 5, Javascript, CSS, jQuery and general Web 2.0 techniques
• Proficiency in software engineering best practices and skillful in the use of JSON/AJAX/XML techniques
• Understanding of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST
• Familiarity with deploying customized content management systems using WordPress
• With a critical eye for making sure that front-end look and feel accurately matches the intended page design and layout
• Ability to weigh in and offer suggestions for a positive user experience
• Confidence in testing Web pages for compliance with coding standards and on multiple browsers and platforms
