Customer Support or Technical Support Person to Make Skype Telephone Calls to US / Australian Businesses to Confirm Information.

Make Skype telephone calls to businesses in the USA and in Australia to confirm information and to enter it into a spreadsheet. (Skype calling subscription provided.)

The calls are to be made within US / Australian business hours.

This position offers the successful applicant a long-term working relationship. It’s a permanent job commencing part-time at 20 hours per week and increasing to 40 hours per week. Skype calls are to continue on an ongoing basis but in time the operation of simple software will be added.

This position offers flexibility of working hours provided that the required calls are made. Timeproof will be used to track worker’s time.

Excellent comprehension of American spoken English is essential. Willingness to become used to Australian spoken English is also required.

The successful applicant will need a reliable computer and a reliable broadband internet connection. A location with no or very low background noise is required.

A pleasant and courteous but efficient telephone manner is required.

Regular (daily) communication by email with the employer is required, including days on which no calls are made (such as on local holidays).

When the position advances to full-time it will be expected that successful applicant have only one job.
