The Company

Active Business Services ("ABS") is a Canadian energy management firm with offices across Canada. ABS has dedicated the last ten years to providing Canadian commercial and industrial customers with natural gas and electricity supply and risk management solutions.

Opportunity

We currently have an opening for an outbound sales representative to assist one of our energy adviser and business development managers. Their main job will be to perform cold calls to owners, CEOs, presidents, directors, Vice-Presidents, controllers, and property managers of commercial and industrial businesses in the Toronto area to set up 10 to 15 minutes in-person meetings with our energy advisors. This individual needs to be results driven, a team player, and have good, clear, and strong English communication skills. Ideally we're looking for a professional with sales experience in prospecting and opening doors.

Role

• Perform outbound sales activities, mainly cold calling, qualifying, lead follow-up
• Book 10-15 minutes in-person meetings with an energy advisor
• Build and develop relationships with company CEOs, presidents, VPs, directors, etc.
• Maintain contact with potential clients to ensure satisfaction
• Research organizations, individuals and potential markets to find new opportunities
• Accurately track all sales activities and categorize and record key potential client information
• Collaborate with the energy advisor to develop strategic plans to identify key targets and opportunities
• Ensure revenue targets/objectives are achieved quarterly and annually as well as exceed activity for scheduled calls, opportunities added and net new accounts
