Data Quality Reviewer

Our e-commerce consulting division is looking for a PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME data quality reviewer. This role will include one or more of the following tasks:

• DATA VALIDATION: We will submit Excel spreadsheets to the Data Quality Reviewer that list information about batches of products to be listed and sold on Amazon. These spreadsheets contain all the facts about each item to be listed, along with URLs for online locations of images for each item. The Data Quality Reviewer will analyze Excel data for missing data on products to be listed on ---------- e knowledge of business rules, Excel filters, Find/Replace and data entry to determine which data is incorrect or missing and to correct ---------- municate with clients to request they provide missing information and make ---------- eck the Excel file to make sure corrections and additions were completed, and sometimes enter additional data and make corrections in the Excel file yourself.

• IMAGE INVENTORY & URL ASSIGNMENT: For each product in an Excel product batch file, search for product images in an online Dropbox folder, and determine the images are available and which are needed for each ---------- put the URLs for available images into the product batch Excel file, and make a note of which images are missing in the Image Inventory ---------- municate with the client to determine whether the client will provide missing images, and ETAs, and to determine which images 21C’s imaging team will need to produce.

• PROOFREADING DATA VALIDATION: Check completed batch files for discrepancies and missing data, including keyword ---------- e knowledge of business rules, Excel filters, Find/Replace and data entry to determine which data is incorrect or missing and to correct it, including checking that all fields requiring a valid value are populated ---------- municate with clients to request they provide missing information and make ---------- eck the Excel file to make sure corrections and additions were completed, and sometimes enter additional data and make corrections in the Excel file yourself.

• PROOFREADING IMAGE URL ASSIGNMENT: For each product in an Excel product batch file, for any image URLs that are missing, search for product images in an online Dropbox folder, and input the URLs for available images into the product batch Excel file. Double-check that all image URLs reference the right product, and correct URLs as needed. Where any images are missing in the Image Inventory columns, let the Project Manager know.

• POST-PUBLICATION QUALITY ASSURANCE: Using the completed batch file, check the live Amazon listing to make sure that prices are correct; variation pickers are working properly; Product Specifications are complete and accurate; specifications match title, Bullet 1 and 2 and Product Description; and expected images are all present and accurate.

The ideal candidate will have...
• Excellent American English language skills
• The ability to manipulate Excel spreadsheets with filters, and to create formulas
• Perfectionist-level attention to detail to be able to spot and correct discrepancies
• Experience using Google Drive, Dropbox and other online file storage tools
• Ability to accurately estimate time needed to complete tasks
• Reliability to meet deadlines
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks as priorities shift, while still meeting deadlines
• Ability to estimate when a deadline is not possible to meet, and to let your managers know with several days’ advance notice
• Proactive communication with managers about any needs, roadblocks or issues with meeting deadlines
• Ability to track and report hours by job/client

Pay is not hourly -- it is based on the number of product listings you completed for the task you were assigned. So the more efficient and accurate you are, the more you can earn. If you do not do the work accurately, you will need to do the task over in order to be paid. We will pay you by wire transfer monthly.
