Role:

We are looking for a creative Copywriter to write clear and concise copy for ads, websites, creating marketing materials, product descriptions and direct email. Your words will inform and engage target audiences.

We are looking for a candidate who is creative, innovative and able to easily adapt to rapid changes in consumer preferences. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and using data to make marketing decisions.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for writing clear and concise copy for ads, websites, creating marketing materials, product descriptions and direct email. Your words will inform and engage target audiences.
Familiarising with the product, target audience and competitor activities in the market
Brainstorming ideas and concepts for the visual and words with other members of the creative team
Driving the creation of original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication
Understanding different language styles that appeal to various target markets
Developing and maintaining a clear and consistent brand voice
Experience with web markup language and search engine optimization
Familiarity with commonly used style guides
Presenting initial ideas to the marketing team/CEO, some of which may be rejected or developed into workable concepts

Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, english, communications, or related discipline
Minimum 4-5 years professional copywriting experience with solid portfolio of work
Exceptional writing and research skill
Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Social media or content marketing experience a plus
Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides a plus
Experience working with content management systems, WordPress, etc.
A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
