--This would be a one time job, but if done really well will become a regular full time job.
Summary: You will be helping to create a "Standing Desk 101" guide
Details: This guide will be used on my blog to teach readers about standing desk. . It will answer the basic questions about Standing Desk like 1) Why use one? 2) How to get started 3) Best Standing Desk 4) Cheapest ones 5) Health Beneifts 6) Popular people that use them and more.
Anything that someone thinking about using a standing desk might ask.
We will create this guide by going out and researching 10 standing desk articles that have already been written. We will list them, summarize them and take away the key points of each to create our guide.
The final guide should be around 1500 to 2000 words. Written in checklist style.
The exact steps we will employ are below.
Deadline: The deadline for this task is broken out into 3 parts.
1. Send me a list of 10 articles that talk about standing desk. Make sure all 10 are not identical and give a variety of advice, high level analysis and detailed particulars. This should take no more than 2 working hours. Preferably less.
2. Write a short summary of the main 2-3 takeaways from each of the 10 articles. This should take no more than 15 minutes per article.
3. Sort the 20 takeaways into a logical order. Put the high level advice up top (i.e. what is cross fit, how does it work etc.) and the more nuts and bolts info towards the bottom (i.e. how to find local clubs, specific excercises).
Example:
The final results should resemble something like this:
* Original Post: http://blog.kissmetrics.com/awesome-google-analytics/
* PDF Guide: http://vidfru.it/1lD5fgW
Deliverable:
1. The deliverable for all three parts should be a shared google doc file.
Time it should take to finish: Total of 6.5 hours.
1. Step 1: 2 hours
2. Step 2: 2.5 hours
3. Step 3: 2 hours.
