The Steel Detailer will support our global services team by drafting and coordinating all aspects of structural and miscellaneous steel as required per project specifications and demands with minimal instruction and supervision. The Steel Detailer will interface with the local team, program management team and external vendors to:

Study and analyze contract drawings and familiarize oneself with the job requirement and scope of work.

Create model and edit drawings in congruence with project specifications, scope of work, client standards and demands.

Efficient in doing team projects.

Coordinate effectively with other trades as well as other members of the staff.

Understand structural /miscellaneous steel codes, coating requirements, industry standards, and shop preferences.

Must have increased latitude when it comes to project recommendations and resolving problems.

Expected to be aware of the problems in order to write RFI’s and correct problems as needed.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree At least one year working experience in the same field
Proficient in SDS, TEKLA and other engineering design software
Proficient in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Word and Excel

Applicants must be 25-55 years old.
