WordPress webmaster

We are looking for an experience, highly motivated individual to join our marketing team (contractual). You would be responsible for installing, building and maintaining a large number of WordPress websites.

You will be required to work 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. You are free to choose the time of day you work, but must be flexible for Skype meetings as we are based in the UK and so in a different time zone.

We build small 20-30 page websites using WordPress on a specialist subject or product.

Responsibilities:
Installing WordPress
Installing themes
Installing plugins
Order the content from the writers
Setting up the site structure as per the SEO stratgey
Adding content to the sites
Maintaining the sites
Researching to identify subjects or products for future websites
May be involved in setting up email lists and campaigns

Full training will be provided.

Experience required:
Previous experience using WordPress is required - you must be very comfortable using the software

Skills required:
A basic knowledge of CSS and HTML would be advantageous
Excellent written English skills
Must be proficient in WordPress
Knowledge of Google Docs (used to record website information)
Ability to manage your own time well
A keen eye for design would be advantageous

You will be working as an independent contractor and not as an employee of Garrod Media.

We are aware of the 13th month and will gladly pay if you serve us well throughout the year.

We already contract hire a Filipino web developer (found through this website) who has been with us for over a year and a half.
