We are looking for a real estate research assistant. This person will take a list of properties provided and do a thorough background check on all of the properties. This includes (but is not limited to):
-Going on county websites to pull information from the county and calling the county when information isn't available online.
-Pulling the property cards and finding if any liens are on the properties
-Gathering information from websites like
-Taking screen shots of google maps and other websites for research purposes
-Researching what schools/crime/surroundings are for a property
-Finding comparable recently sold properties in the area
All information will be stored in excel spreadsheets and links will need to be added to the excel workbook for reference.
We will train someone to do this and provide the list of websites where we want information gathered so it's not like we will give a blank spreadsheet and not help. However we need someone who is able to quickly gather information off the internet and provide a fast turn around on the lists.
A successful person will be able to be consistent, return information correctly and quickly, and be able to problem solve when information isn't where it's expected to be.
Requirements:
Personal Computer with fast internet
Strong command of English
Data Entry/Research skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Basic Knowledge about US Real Estate
Software requirements:
Google Chrome (can be downloaded for free)
Microsoft Excel
Snipping tool (For cropped screenshots)
This will be a long term job for the right candidate but we plan to have a trial period due to the unusual nature of the job.
