Front End Web Developer

Hi!

We are a travel & tours company based in Australia.

We are looking for the perfect person to help us part time or project-based (with an option for full time employment in the future) to develop our new WooCommerce based online store.

Your responsibilities will be to:

- Work with AI vector files to create responsive HTML/CSS based website layouts from design files.

- Custom-code a WooCommerce compatible WordPress theme in in PHP/MySQL with various custom plugins.

- Configure and customize standard and premium WordPress plugins.

- Transfer articles and media from our old, HTML based, website to the new WordPress website.

You must be familiar with best practices for WordPress like caching, website speed optimisation, SEO and show a good understanding of web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, PHP, MySQL and (native or framework) JavaScript.
