Wordpress Publishing ‘A Content Editor and Publishing Expert Required’

Summary
I have hundreds of Wordpress websites to build over the next three years. Currently, we are running on the Genesis framework and using all the different wordpress themes from www.studiopress.com.

Please note - We are not custom designing Wordpress websites at the moment. Although, some knowledge of HTML, PHP, CSS, etc will be useful as we progress our programme of development.

To begin with this is a simple case of selecting a theme from Studio Press and then copying exactly the style guide that is displayed in the theme. All the content that will be provided to you by me is designed on that basis. It is designed to the pixel in order to exactly fit the chosen theme.

From the UK we will do all of the following;

1. Set up the server and install Wordpress and Theme
2. Change the DNS records of the domain name
3. Provide all graphical content
4. Provide all written content
5. Provide a clear website map
6. Provide a list of all plugins
7. Provide all software, plugins, etc
8. All websites should be initially built using www.serverpress.com


Our partner will be expected to work with all of the tools that we provide and follow instructions carefully and with high attention to detail.

Please note - This work is all about speed and volume.

The process will be to build the websites on your desktop, using www.serverpress.com
When the websites are finished and we are happy, they will be then put live onto our servers.


The communication process / protocol - Email / Phone / Skype / Google Hangouts

• Google Drive – the project folder containing all of the information will be uploaded to Google Drive. Project folders will include; Images / Graphics / Sliders / Copy / Sitemap

• Phone / Skype – we will use text messaging for important alerts and to indicate that we need to arrange to speak to each other on Skype or Google.

• Project Bubble – We use www.projectbubble.com to manage project updates and discussion.

• Google Hangouts – We can use this for following project progress by screen sharing, etc

Please also understand that you will be expected to help us develop better, more effective processes to work with you. You will be expected to contribute positively to developing this business opportunity with us. The Japanese have a word ‘Kaizen’ – it means continuous improvement. That is the philosophy of how we work and we expect everyone who works with us to adopt that approach.

Are you the right person?

- We are looking to work with someone who has a very good understanding of Wordpress.

- They should be comfortable with all aspects of the Wordpress dashboard, including plugins, widgets, sliders, etc…

- The person needs to clearly demonstrate their ability to copy Wordpress theme styles in order to quickly populate content quickly and efficiently into the Wordpress CMS.

- They should demonstrate their ability to ‘problem solve’ and find ‘solutions’ to any issues quickly and effectively

- We are looking to work with someone who is ‘solutions oriented’, someone who has the ability to work on their own remotely, but still as part of our team in the UK.

- They must have excellent spoken and written English skills and clearly demonstrate that in all their communications with us.

- They must be self-motivated, highly reliable, honest and hardworking.

- They must be reasonably prepared to work whenever we are working. The time difference between the UK and Phillipines is 7 hours. Plus, we often work on Saturdays and Sundays. If the job needs to be done we want to work with people who will help us deliver on time.

- All of our work must be treated with respect as all of the information provided is confidential. Anybody who works with us must understand this clearly and show responsibility for managing the information that is provided to them.


We are looking to build up regular work with a partner or partners in the Phillipines. We have hundreds / thousands of our own websites to build as well as work we undertake on behalf of clients.

We are looking for a long term relationship that we can build upon, eventually developing offices and building a team of resources to support our UK activities.

We would prefer to work with someone who also wants to build a lasting relationship for the future.
