Podcast Editor/Audio Engineer

We’re looking for a motivated Podcast Editor to join our podcasting team.

The ideal candidate will have experience within audio and will have great English speaking skills, as you will be editing podcasts that are spoken in English so you must have a good grasp of the English language.

The average time of the podcast you will be given to edit, mix and master will be just bellow 60 minutes and we expect a 24 hour turn around. When accepted for the job you will be given on average 5 podcasts to edit per month. Once we are confident in your abilities and we can see you can deliver we will be giving you on average 5 podcasts to edit per week. We will pay you $0.50 per minute of audio that you process.

We need someone who has in-depth knowledge of whatever DAW they choose to use for both editing, mixing and mastering purposes (we do not mind what software you use all that is important is that you can deliver an end product).

Skills Required :-
? Audio Restoration (Removing Background Noise & Room Reverberation)
? Audio Production Mixing & Mastering (Equalisation & Dynamic Control)
? Audio Editing (Cutting out Pauses, Outtakes, Umms, Ahhs, Breaths)
? Adding Intro, Outro, Music and Ads (Applying Fades and Crossfades)
? Adding ID3 Tags

If you are motivated, detail-oriented, and happy to be paid for the amount of work you can complete. Please include your resume and a link to your portfolio when applying (or any previous work you’ve done with audio). Please also detail what software you use including third party plugins, occasionally you will need to do audio restoration so having software such as izotope rx or built in plugins that for example logic pro has that allow you to remove noise, pops, clicks is vital for the role.
