Backend PHP Developer

We're a digital agency based in Australia and we're looking for an experienced PHP developer to join the team.

We have a variety of projects on the go, which includes new and existing projects, and you will be involved in the full development life-cycle: from the idea to the launch of the product.

The right person is someone who really loves coding, learning and improving their skills. Great attitude, positive outlook, and team player mentality are also important.

This will be long-term, full-time employment. If you join you must commit 100% - This is a salaried position and 40 hours per week is expected.

We're looking for an experienced PHP Backend Developer looking to grow their career. You'll be working along side our existing PH team consisting of a designer, front end developer and backend developer. You should have knowledge in the following areas:

* Must be proficient with Object Orientated Programming, MVC & and latest versions of PHP
* Laravel 5.7+ experience (ideal but not required)
* Wordpress Plugin Dev experience (ideal but not required)
* Proficient with Javascript & jQuery
* Proficient with REST APIs
* Knowledgeable with Git (ideal but not required)
* Comfortable using CSS frameworks.
* Must be a team player, great communicator, and able to work on multiple projects at the same time.
* Good at time management.
* Strong desire to always increase your skill set and adapt to new technologies.

Working Hours: We offer somewhat flexible working hours. But to ensure the team is working at similar times, you must complete your 8 hour shift (which includes 1 hour of breaks) between 6am and 6pm (PH Time).
