Data Wrangler / Data Scientist / Data Engineer

Gloss ( ---------- ) is a successful U.S. Digital Marketing Agency founded in 2007, with a full-time staff in the Philippines since 2008.

We are seeking a Data Wrangling Expert to accomplish the following:

- Directly support every aspect of our data process, with the end goal of enabling data to be leveraged in a variety of downstream purposes.
- Solve problems related to unexpected or inconsistent data outputs
- Leverage tools and create processes to make our data infrastrucure more resilient and error proof, and generally jumping into data topics wherever they pop up.
- Oversee and guarantee the integrity and safety of data to all end users.
- Recommend possible tools/software we can utilize to enhance our data infrastructure
- Track and document all data coming into and leaving the office.

The ideal candidate will have:

- 3-5 years direct work experience with data mining, munging, cleansing, and troubleshooting.
- 1-3 years of practical experience designing and developing database schemas
- Ability to learn quickly with minimal supervision and identify "gaps" in the data
- A basic working knowledge of data science
- End to end troubleshooting and resolution of data quality issues
- Ongoing data integrity monitoring and maintenance across all database stacks.
- Documentation and version management of schema changes across all database stacks.
- Knowledge and experience in data wrangling and the importance of data integrity and naming conventions.
- High degree of computer literacy.
- Ability to learn new software quickly, and learn on the job, if necessary.
- Ability to analyze and problem solve.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

- You must live in the Philippines (please do not apply if this is not the case as we will not reply).
- You have your own computer and Internet connection (this is a home-based position).
