JOB OVERVIEW

Local Furniture Outlet is seeking a Customer Service agent(s) for our e-commerce business division. This candidate will be responsible for providing customers with assistance via phone and email, answering questions and offering suggestions based on the individual needs of the client. Our primary objective is to ensure Local Furniture Outlet is a fun and easy place to shop by providing superior service and the best shopping experience possible. Ideal candidates will need to have a positive attitude and a dedication to providing superior customer service and data entry. Experience in the home furnishing industry is preferred. This is a great position for somebody who is looking to join a rapidly growing company.

Duties Include:
• Process new orders
• Follow orders step by step through the process to ensure they arrive at the customer(s) home in a timely fashion.
• Analyze and address warranty issues in a timely and accurate manner
• Use knowledge of claim inquiry
• Maintain strong business relationships with client and other claims personnel
• Maintain well-documented notes, to be read and understood by not only claims but also staff
• Analyze complex damages
• Comply with all Warranty procedures
• Follow up with the customer(s) on their experience
• Send freight rate requests and/or schedule trucks
• Acknowledge purchase orders, bill of ladings, and other documents for accuracy.
• Able to work within the hours of 8 AM to 9 PM US CST
• Work weekends.

Requirements:
• Computer Literacy: Proficient in web navigation, email & social media.
• Presentation: Friendly, outgoing attitude with the ability to gain rapport with prospective clients.
• Strong verbal communication: Clear English-speaking voice.
• Excellent written communication: Spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Positive attitude.
• Experience in furniture industry a plus
• High School Diploma minimum.
• Ability to maintain a professional & courteous demeanor at all times.
• Strong internet connection.
• Able to work in US time zones.
• Must be committed to a full-time job with no additional project going past 10 hours a week.
• Preferred Knowledge, Abilities & Skills:
• Self-starter, with the ability to work well with others using tact and diplomacy
• Quick and accurate typing skills
• Ability to effectively multitask many responsibilities and projects
• Strong attention to detail
