Recipe Management with Python and PHP

I want to do a SaaS application for recipe management.

My best tool is PHPRunner, which makes it easy to do CRUD applications.

Many recipe functions like import/export, calculate nutrition, etc. are available as part of the package ----------

It seems that if these two applications interface at the database level, I should be albe to enable users of the PHP app to call the Python to, say, import recipes, per ---------- - same with calculating nutrition by matching the ingredients to the USDA Nutrition Database.

I am open to other methods of solving this contest.
