JOB OVERVIEW

EMPLOYMENT:
Part-Time
Will be required to be available for 10 hours a week. Will start with 3 hours a week. Should you be able to adapt with the work efficiently, we will increase the workload and/or hours.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our company is in search of an Accountant/Bookkeeper to research, analyse, and manage all our financial information. The person we are looking for must be a seasoned professional who can take the lead in the full management of our accounting data using Quickbooks online.
You are expected to manage all financial documentation, auditing, and reconciliations. You must have effective written and verbal communication skills to relay prepared implementations smoothly and at a timely manner.
As an Accountant/Bookkeeper, you must have advanced problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. You must demonstrate skills in collecting and organizing reports, substantiating and finalizing financial information. The success of the Accountant/Bookkeeper will be measured with the ability to reconcile bank deposits with transactions provided from various e-commerce platforms, enter all financial information in Quickbooks Online with accuracy in a consistent way.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Spearheads all financial data preparations.
• Organizes, analyses, and compiles all account entries.
• Summarizes and substantiates current financial status through proper information collection, balance sheet preparation, and report-making.
• Prepares and recommends accounting control policies and procedures.
• Prepares monthly accounting reports.
• Submits monthly reports if and when Upgrade to see actual infoSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Performs duties punctually and with accuracy.
• Leads accounting data processing.
• Has an eye and skill for financial data collection and reconciliation.
• Provides keen insights on monthly reports.
• Maintains financial information confidential.
• Maintains close contact with supervisor to report updates and potential issues.
• Collaborates and takes learning and working initiatives to better the quality of outputs and the workspace.
• Presents finalized ideas, reports, and concepts in meetings or emails.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Effective written and spoken communication skills.
• 2-4 years relevant work experience with demonstrated success in relevant fields.
• In-depth knowledge on accounting, bookkeeper, and data entry management.
• Experience with accounting tools like QuickBooks.
• Must be able to meet deadlines without compromising the quality of work.
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheets, and Docs.
• Must be willing to learn new software and applications required for work.
