PHP DEVELOPER (JUNIOR TO SENIOR LEVEL

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for developing applications for internal and external clients. Major job responsibilities include: collaborating with the project manager, other developers, and quality control during development phase; analyzing requirements of project to determine the appropriate algorithms to use and ensuring proper documentation of each developed application; researches/evaluates software or hardware that may assist in development or may be used as program platforms; create technical design documentation of assigned projects; and analyzes new programs and upgrades of externally developed application. This role requires excellent programming skills and understanding of relational databases.

Main Responsibilities:

· Converts project specifications and statements of problems and procedures to create or modify software.

· Translates algorithms and technical specifications into computer source-code.

· Analyzes specifications, applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic

· Edits, compiles, debugs and builds software that is suited for the project utilizing any development environment

· Researches/Evaluates software or hardware that may assist in development or may be used as program platforms.

· Adheres to programming standards and format.

· Works closely with the development team lead in the gathering, organization, and analysis of the requirements.

· Researches on technologies and approaches critical to the system's architecture.

· Discusses suggestions, recommendations, or improvements to the Development Team Lead or Project Management.

· Consults functionality details with the Development Team Lead which is needed to design and prototype the system.

· Converts the requirements into an architecture and design that will become the blueprint for the solution being created.

· Chooses the methodologies and techniques that will be used by to solve specific problems.

· Enumerates and understands details so that potential issues may be identified at once and may suggest opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

· Graduate of a 4-year course preferably relating to Information Technology courses.

· At least one (1) year of relevant and related experience in Information Technology or Software Development

· Knowledgeable in any of the following programming skills: PHP, JAVA

· Knowledgeable in any of the following Relational Database Systems such as: MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL.

· Understanding on any of the following web design concepts such as: HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, etc.

· Understands object-oriented programming paradigm.

· Amenable to be assigned in Alabang Muntinlupa
