Creative Video Editor for Ads, Promos & Testimonials

Hi... I'm a busy video producer that needs a creative video editor to handle:

- Video editing of the footage I provide. This includes corporate events, videos for promotion, video ads for social media, etc.
- Creating engaging videos that evoke emotion in order to achieve business goals: sell products, get new partners, build relationships, build trust, etc.
- Distribution: posting videos on social media with thumbnails, titles, hashtags.

You should have experience in Premiere Pro and some experience in After Effects, Audition, and design/Photoshop. FCPX experience is a plus.

I'm looking for someone amazing to work with me for the long term. If you're looking for the same old, same old then this won't be for you. You'll need to include the word broccoli in your proposal as that I'll be able to see you understand this brief.

Role Requirements:

- Must enjoy working remotely with MINIMAL hand holding
- Must be a great at video editing and engaging storytelling with video
- Extensive computer experience
- Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects (for lower-thirds) experience ESSENTIAL
- Able to find fitting songs for the videos you edit
- Some design and photo retouching experience
- Experience in Dropbox, Trello, Adobe Acrobat, Google Docs is advantageous but not necessary
- Experience in paid ads (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and video SEO is advantageous but not necessary
- Understanding the German language is advantageous but not necessary
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once yet complete tasks with laser-like focus
- Must be a proactive problem solver who finds the solutions rather than asks questions
- Strong attention to detail and superb time management skills

Role Duties Include:

- This is full time 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (minimum 40 hours/week)
- Fast and reliable internet connection to transfer video files
- Provide the highest level of video editing services
- Perform daily (Mon-Fri) administrative duties
- Assist and support me with ad-hoc tasks as required
