Freelance Graphic Designer

Malmö Design & Supply, a U.S.-based home decor e-commerce start-up, is seeking a talented Freelance Graphic Designer to join the team for periodic work assignments. We are looking for a self-starter who is truly passionate about print and digital graphic design, and excited to work with a growing company in a fast-moving, virtual environment.

To be hired for this position, the candidate must supply relevant work samples and and a portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality digital assets, including but not limited to: social media posts, product mock-ups and digital ads
- Edit product photography including retouching and composting
- Develop and design print collateral including product hang tags, inserts and packaging

Minimum Qualifications:

- A minimum of 2 years of graphic design experience
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
- Strong creative portfolio that must include print and graphic design, and demonstrated use of varied typography, color-theory, grid-based design, and white space
- Organized, focused, and detail- and deadline-oriented
- Strong communication skills over email

Preferred Qualifications:

- A four year degree from a recognized academic institution in graphic design or fine arts
- Four or more years of professional experience
