We are a growing and expanding digital advertising agency looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer to join our team! There is a tremendous opportunity for growth as we will eventually delegate more and more responsibilities and pay.

About Your Role:
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with a demonstrated track record of innovative thinking, technical mastery, and peer guidance. You will work in a collaborative environment, and as a Lead Developer you will be involved with setting technical direction and collaborating on new ideas, as well as realizing these ideas in code.

The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to specs on Wordpress and Shopify Platforms. This person will also be responsible for keeping sites safe, secure and up to date.

Attention to detail and good communication skills are necessary for this role.

About Your Contributions:
• Design, build, and maintain efficient and dependable code.
• Develop Wordpress and Shopify sites based on a Photoshop design file from start to finish.
• Optimize site load speeds.
• Perform website content updates (pictures, banners, copy, etc)
• Perform website backups.
• Proactively monitor and analyze site performance.
• Strong knowledge and ability to debug issues in a timely manner that arise with the performance of a website.
• Improve and maintain the design and architecture of our websites.
• Develop and maintain performant and robust server side systems.
• Research new technologies and approaches to solve problems and improve existing systems.
• Design systems and APIs meant to be used and extended by other teams while maintaining code quality and architectural consistency.

About You: Skills Required
• Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI and general web functions and standards.
• Strong Foundational knowledge of compatibility and cross-browser issues
• Effective written and verbal communicator and team-oriented contributor
• Ability and desire to quickly learn new technologies and solve complex problems
• Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, E-Commerce
• Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Wordpress and Shopify is needed to be successful in this position.
• Strong grasp of web security measures
• Strong knowledge of mobile development experience
• Web User Interface Design (UI)
• Basic knowledge of search engine optimization
• Strong knowledge and understanding of how to use and design APIs and tech stacks
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop
