Business Objects developer

JOB OVERVIEW:

Equinox is seeking a Business Objects developer to join our Data Insights team. This role is a hands-on development position to build the reports and support the existing system.

Required Skills:

5 + years of experience with SAP Business Objects 4.1, in Web Intelligence/Rich Client Report Development.

Translate business requirements to technical requirements in terms of BO universe and report design.

Experience in working with Business Objects ---------- sign and manage BO repository related admin activities such as folder design, security group design.

Ability to write and understand complex SQL: queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.
5 + years of solid experience in SQL Server (including versions 2005 & above) and SQL Server stored procedures.

Ability to self-manage timelines and deliverables and work in a team environment.

Work successfully in a multi-project, deadline driven environment, within Agile framework.

Critical Skills:

BI 4.1 (Web Intelligence, Rich Client), CMC, Upgrade Management tool, SQL.

Reporting Tools: Crystal Reports 2013, OLAP Cubes

Database: SQL Server 2008/2012, Redshift

Visualization/Scripting: Tableau 10.0, JavaScript, D3

Programming: Python development/scripting, Dataviz ? Bokeh
