Full Time Portal/Blog Editor and Writer - Motivated and Passionate Applicants Only!

We are media agency and own a content portal based in Los Angeles, California.

We are looking for a writer to rewrite articles for a general interest portal 7 days a week across these categories:

Education
Finance
Health & Beauty
Daily Living
Relationships
Shopping
Travel
Gossip

Target demographic of our portal is 30-65 yr old males and females.

Article Requirements:

2 articles per category per day (16 daily articles)
100-200 words each

Must include linkbait headline

Must include an image with photo attribution to the source.

Image must be resized to certain dimensions to appear correctly on the homepage slider**Any graphic design experience is a plus**

Details:

-You need to have exceptional english writing skills.

-You need to be able to create linkbait headlines that get clicked on facebook, twitter, etc

-Within wordpress you will need be able to format, include a picture, tags, and category, and publish wordpress posts to the portal

-You will need to collaborate with other writers on a google doc to make sure there is no duplicate content
This includes entering your American pen name, URL of the source article, the category, the new title you will be using on the portal, and the date it will be published.
Initially you will be the only employee and will need to come up with 8 pen names (1 for each category) to write under.

-I am on skype and gchat from 9:30AM-6PM PST Monday-Friday and always available by email. I will be checking in with you every few days and providing feedback for improvement and growth within our portal.

-You must have a reliable internet connection or access to one (internet cafe, etc)

-This position might lead to a lead editor role at the portal where you manage other writers as well as bonuses for high pageview articles.
