We Need a Website Content Writer

We operate a wide variety of websites in many varied niches, we are looking for new content writers to write on a wide range of subjects: SEO/Marketing, Family law, Home Services/Contractors, Health and Fitness, Travel, home products, entertainment, food and drink, show business are just a few of the niches we are involved in.

Content Requirements

Engaging high quality content
Usually written in a professional yet conversational tone
Perfect english and grammar
Well structured content that uses targeted Keywords in titles, subtitles and paragraphs.


Typical Workflow
In a typical assignment we provide a subject, a high level plan of the articles main focus & the areas covered, multiple content source suggestions, some keyword research and a title. Although usually content sources will be provided occasionally more research would help to produce an even better article - a great candidate will add value by performing additional supplemental research when they think its beneficial and worthwhile.

The candidate will then need to use their experience and skills as a writer to ensure quality content is produced that meets the task objectives every time.

REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
We're looking for individuals with a good writing style and experience of writing website content.


OPTIONAL BUT BENEFICIAL SKILLS and EXPERIENCE

The following skills and experiences are definitely not essential but are of interest because they will be helpful:

WRITING:
An understanding/experience of SEO content and how to write optimized content.
An understanding/experience of how to write sales copy - with a business mind and basic understanding of marketing,
Experience of editing high-quality content for the ---------- ing Yoast plugin and Grammarly
Use of plagiarism checker
Technical Writing
Writing user guides or Ebooks

WEBSITE MANAGEMENT/ TECHNICAL:
Ability to post content on CMS usually Wordpress or php websites, any html skills
Basic website skills such as create a new post, insert an image, insert titles/subtitles.
Image/video editing

TIME COMMITMENT AND PAY
This role is flexible, you can work when you want ---------- itially we prefer that the role is freelance, you will be paid whenever you write something, our usual rate for that is $0.004 per word
some examples:
500 words article $2.00
1000 words article $4.00
2000 words article $8.00
6000 words article $24.00

We always have content to write and our content production will only increase.

Once a writer has proven themselves we would consider a hourly pay based arrangement providing that it meets our needs and that content targets are met.


We are looking for long term arrangement to support growth of the business.
