PHP Developers wanted for Australian SaaS Company

We are looking for awesome problem solvers in the Philippines, but with a global ---------- esh graduates are also welcome to apply. We create innovative cloud solutions for call centers and sales organizations and you will be a key part in developing and supporting our next generation platform. You are highly motivated and have a strong entrepreneurial spirit. You will report directly to senior management and you are an effective communicator - both in terms of translating ideas into tasks and in terms of explaining challenges to non techies.

You should be ideally be based in Metro Manila. Our team consists of other members in different locations and you are flexible to adapt to different collaboration techniques, including regular meetups in Makati. You will be working from home, and will need a good internet connection to stay connected to the rest of our international team.

Key Responsibilities :
- PHP development, as well as leveraging cutting edge technologies related to cloud infrastructure
- Foster a developer operations culture, collaborating with technology experts and sharing knowledge
- “On-Call” rotation providing client support

Candidate Must Have
- Excellent communication, analytical and collaborative problem-solving skills
- Curiosity to identify potential problems before they happen, dig deep for root causes and implement solutions that prevent future occurrences.
- A strong ability to work as a team player, enjoying a combination of multiple projects collaboratively with colleagues and clients alike
- Skills to be flexible and adaptable to emerging technologies, with a "can do" approach and hit the ground running
- Focus on delivery, with a passion for quality and innovation
- Interest in contributing to ongoing organizational improvements

Required Skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in PHP and ideally also with databases, such as MySQL
- Front end development experience - writing HTML/CSS3 & Javascript
- Experience with PHP MVC frameworks

Preferred Skills (nice bonus of you can tick any of these off as well)
- Experience with Internet telephony (Asterisk, Softphones)
- Experience with UNIX administration or variants thereof (Linux, Ubuntu, etc)
- Experience with PageKit Framework
- Experience with network setup and configuration including the basic configuration of Internet and firewall
