Website Designer / WordPress / Joomla!

We are looking for a creative website designer with extensive experience using WordPress. Some experience with Joomla! would also be very helpful. What we need is somebody who can work with minimal hand-holding and supervision, under the direction of highly experienced designers and developers. Mostly, you'll be implementing well-defined ideas, but will also be able to exercise a degree of your own creativity, depending upon the project you are working on.

If you have some graphic design skills, coding knowledge, etc that would be a bonus - but we do have existing people to deal with all of that. This is a website design role, mostly using premium WordPress themes like Thrive, Divi and the like. We also use a variety of premium WordPress plugins, such as Gravity Forms, Business Directory Plugin, etc. You will be required to demonstrate good general knowledge of the following:

* WordPress (minimum expert level)
* Joomla (minimum beginner level)
* UI/UX (minimum intermediate level)

Candidates must send links to your recently completed WordPress and/or Joomla! website projects and be able to describe the design process for each website (e.g. design principles applied, plugins used, customisations, etc). if you do not know what you are doing we will definitely know within minutes of starting an interview with you. This is a job for a design professional - not a template filler.

This is a full-time position working between the hours of approximately 8.00 am and 6.00 pm (Manila time) Monday to Friday. You will be working under the direct supervision of a senior designer, using the Teamwork project management system. You will need some written English skills but will be working under the direction of a native Tagalog speaker.

You can start work as soon as next Monday. Payment is fortnightly to your local bank account, in Pesos.
