Cannabis Friendly Junior Wordpress Multi-site PHP/JS/CSS/SQL Developer Needed.

we are looking for a passionate junior WordPress Multisite Developer to join our team! As our WordPress Developer to our company, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development of our core product offerings on our WAAS network.

We are expecting you to have a strong understanding of latest industry trends regarding Wordpress-as-a-service hosting.

Overview

We are a pre-revenue brand performance agency that owns its own WAAS network that is getting finalized with the last few tweaks before launch. Our multi-network Wordpress core currently has 3 network offerings targeting 3 niches: personal single page sites, shops, business hosting. We integrated Divi as our main theme framework and we are polishing our premium plugin offerings for each network.

WordPress Developer duties and responsibilities:

Designing and implementing new features and functionality
Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture and optimization
Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of our core code
Ability to help finish and polish service offerings

WordPress Developer requirements and qualifications:

Good understanding of WP technologies, including HTML5, PHP, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools

Examples of projects you will work on:

Moving our server from Cloudways to Digital Ocean / Server Pilot for AutoSSL provisioning for new WAAS client sites.
Optimizing architecture for network wide performance and scaling
Network wide standard caching setup (We leaning towards buying WPRocket Unlimited license)
Build bandwidth limiter controls for client account. WPUltimo does not limit total bandwidth, only site views. Enable logging for each server block (vhost) in our nginx and use bytes_sent to catch all this data and then roll it into a MySQL table every minute and use scripts to prune and store into daily, weekly, monthly, etc. Build a new page into the network admin area that gives us something like:
