I am looking to hire the right person for my full time position.
What is most important to me is you are organized, can honestly and accurately manage your duties and the details of the job, and you communicate with me about any challenges.
I currently use the Asana.com project management system (they also have an app.)
Here is what my job includes:
Wordpress/SEO--
= Wordpress - install, update, research & add plugins, keep up to date with versions, themes
= Optimized blog posts (I have a plugin installed)
= Keyword research (I have a program)
= Surveys - create and update (I have something in my Cpanel already but there is some customization needed)
= Update various sites for SEO - Facebook, Twitter, ping, iTunes, etc.
= Other SEO tasks you (or I) may identify -- some are below such as videos & calls ...
Websites --
= Make changes to my HTML sites including CSS (at times... most are simple)
= Use my standards on pages - Google Analytics, headings, etc.
= Track and backup pages
= DNN updates -- this is a Joomla like data base system. Add new areas, add security i.e. user logins, track security/logins, update areas, post calls/videos/documents (It's pretty simple... I'll train you if you don't know it)
Posting calls & Videos (for regular calls)
= Edit calls - I use Audacity/free
= Post calls to HTML, Wordpress blog, my sites, itunes, Podomatic, etc.
= Edit videos -- add banners, split into logical pieces, etc.
= Post videos to YouTube, my sites, my blog, etc.
= Setup & post video cast / iTunes
= Post to Roku channel
Most of these are the same things repurposed all over
Graphics --
= Create product packaging (I already have a concept, sample for most things)
= Create 3D images for websites
= Create banner adds
= Create images for websites & blogs
= Touch up photos
Manage other technical tasks --
= Host site backups (my files are too large so periodic backups are needed)
= Track product inventory (spreadsheet -- you need to organize it)
= File original files for backups (redundancy)
And other tasks as needed.
There are always extra tasks... so some tasks will be prioritized and you will work on others as time permits.
I work Monday/Tuesday PST. I am nearly always on Monday with appointments Tuesday, so I would expect you to be around then. I also want to know when you are working to coordinate and know what to expect. I don't really like working Sunday my time (your Monday).
I use Skype to communicate, and Asana which tracks emails. You will need to submit a daily report of tasks and hours worked.
