JOB OVERVIEW

Who We Are

Hello; my name is Dyan Bellen and I am the Lead Manager for My Texas Home Advisors. We are a real estate sales company based out of Fort Worth, TX (United States).

We are a small, but growing company and are experiencing quite a bit of growth. This has pushed the need for us to hire you, our newest team member.

Since some aspects of our process do not require someone to be physically located with our clients, I would like to offer this job to you.

You’re probably wondering if you would be our first Filipino team member?

Actually, no. We currently have 4 team members who are from the Philippines like yourself. I live in Kuala Lumpur and I’m the Lead Manager, Patricia and Anna live in Davao and Iloilo City respectively, and they are our Service Managers. Marnell lives and works out of Bangkok, Thailand and he is our Lead Assistant. There are also several other American based team members out of Fort Worth, TX.

If you’re wondering what you would be doing?

The job title is, as I alluded to before, a “Real Estate Appointment Setter”. Your main responsibility is to make outbound calls to our prospective leads who may be interested in selling their house and set an appointment with them for our American team members to see the property. You will also be doing admin tasks, as needed. We will provide all needed training and software to accomplish this virtually from the Philippines.

So, why should you join us over anyone and everyone else?

If you would like…
1) a steady pay check with the chance for bonuses based on performance,
2) the opportunity to work from home without a boss breathing down your neck,
3) a team environment where you work with others to share the work, and
4 ) if you want to work with me, a Filipino national, in a company based in the U.S.
…then this is a job you will enjoy and excel at.

Are we for real?

You don’t have to take my word for it. Here is what Anna Mateo says about working on the team:
---------- PH testimonial.mp3?dl=0

Here is what Patricia says about working on the team, we even have a Tagalog version to make you feel comfortable with the team:
---------- Testimonial (English).mp3?dl=0
---------- Testimonial (Tagalog).mp3?dl=0

And to give you an idea of how we work:

How to know if you’re qualified for this opportunity?

I don’t care if you have prior experience in this field at all. I can teach you everything you need to know in order to excel at your job.

What I do care about is whether you’re going to be the “right fit” for our team. I have to make sure you will gel with our family because we’re so small and everyone has to work well together.

What I can’t teach you is to how to have a good attitude and to be self-motivated. These are things you must demonstrate in the interview process.

A successful applicant must be able to demonstrate:

* A can do attitude, and the ability to work without constant supervision
* Be able to speak in conversational English and write in passable English as well
* Knowledge of word, excel, gmail, and general ability to use windows based software
* Have or be willing to obtain Internet fast enough to allow Skype and ---------- phone calls without degradation
* Working microphone and Internet video camera
I will provide phone scripts and training on all software and procedures as well as phone accounts, etc.

So, what are the working hours?

As I stated before, our company is based in Fort Worth, Texas so we would require you to work during the US business hours, preferably between 9:00AM to 5:00PM CST or 10:00AM to 6:00AM CST.

What about the 13th Month?

Wondering if we pay the 13th month? Of course we ---------- ’s part of Filipino culture, and we want to be a part of it too, so yes we start accruing pay towards the 13th month beginning on the start of the next quarter. We pay half of the 13th month in the 3rd quarter for school supplies, etc. for your kids (or whatever else you choose) and the other half right before Christmas.

What happens next?

Since our jobs are so popular we generally get deluged with applicants. So I have designed a three-part interview process to make the process as simple and efficient for all parties.
The first part of the interview process is designed to examine your English-speaking skills, ability to write in English, and ability to follow directions. We also test your Internet speed to determine if it is fast enough or can be upgraded if you get the job.
If you make it through this first round, we will talk via video chat to determine if you are a good fit for the team. I will then endorse you to the owner of the company for a final decision and ultimately offer the job to someone.
