Cannabis Journalism / News Curator VA

High there,

I'm looking for a cannabis friendly VA that can assist in producing daily cannabis news content.

I have a list of daily cannabis news beats that needs to be rewritten with the following basic key elements extracted per beat: Who, What, When, Where.

You will need to be able to source relevant (creative commons) feature image / or draft ideas for our in house designer to create one for more important news beats and write ups.

Article spinners can be used to spin/reword and bulk up news articles if you wish, we looking at 200 - 600 words each.

You will get a Premium Grammerly subscription to help polish drafts to closer perfection.

General task flow will include:

Research / suggest new news beats
Draft news articles from supplied and/or approved news beats
Post approved articles
Post syndication across various channels

This is a half-day part time position, with growth opportunities.

Daily Deadline for first news beat drafted of the day: 10:20AM your time (04:20AM GM+2)

Minimum expected 3 news articles to be posted a day 5 days a week, with an avg word count of 420.

What do we do?

We are a cannabis community newswire channel based in the South of Africa reporting on regulations, culture, science and politics in cannabis. We have a FB following and a database of emails we've collecting over the last 2 years to launch our new site. We need to be able to reliably pump out news daily and become the go to source for reliable cannabis news in our region.

We also love memes to fluff up all the serious news.
