WEB DEVELOPER WITH DESIGN SKILLS

Are you looking for a full-time, reliable job with good pay where you can use your diverse web skillset as part of a small home-based team? We’re looking for a committed, all-around web developer/designer to execute new top-to-bottom build outs for our portfolio of websites, and ensure the management of our existing sites.

We manage eight marketing websites in the French-language that have been translated from parent sites in English. Our small team of home-based individuals work together on a daily basis to tackle a variety of projects all aimed at helping people live healthier, more enjoyable lives through the information we provide.

-- About the Position --

This position requires a diverse web skillset encompassing both development and design skills. Here are some more details related to the skills needed and tools used:

Web Development Skills
- Web Development: Responsive programming in HTML and PHP, using CSS, javascript/jQuery. PSD to Upgrade to see actual infoing 3rd party page builder services like Unbounce.
- Domain management: setting up new domains with various hosting services, server file management, troubleshooting, etc.
- WordPress: Admin experience for setting up a site, adding content/widgets, making changes to widgets, adding/configuring plugins/layouts and other content within WP framework.
- Site maintenance: Wordpress and non-Wordpress sites, ensuring site security through regular checks and the use of our security suite (Sucuri), updating site software, plugins, Upgrade to see actual infosign Skills
- Banner design, book cover design, image editing in Photoshop (required).
- Adobe InDesign experience is a plus.

Other Skills
- Languages: high proficiency in English (speaking, writing) is necessary.
- French is NOT required but confidence in ability to build pages using French text is a big plus.
