Video Editor - Facebook Ads

We are looking for a talented, efficient and proactive video editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches our video type required (semi-proffessional using memes and borders emoticons) and is suitable for broadcasting as an ad on Facebook (no swear words etc) 1minute - 1:30 max per video.

Ultimately, as a video editor, you should be able to quickly get raw footage from multiple different product videos, build them according to spec (focusing on benefits of products, all explained in training video) and make multiple variations of each video ad easily. Training video on Dropbox will explain A-B ... these videos can be made withing minutes they are amazingly quick and easy to make, you will see when I show yo after interview.

Also we will be utilising Trello, as a job management board, training can be provided. ( very simple - drag and drop)

Responsibilities
Manipulate and edit film pieces in an effective way
Take a brief to grasp the team’s needs and specifications
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video ad
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
Create rough and final cuts
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
Create Thumbnails for video ads


Requirements
Proven work experience as a video editor
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
Creative mind and storytelling skills
Experience working for a remote team/client
Ability to deliver quality output within a given period of time.
