Webmaster and System Developer (2 in 1)

Wordpress and customized PHP/MySQL system developer and webmaster for cPanel websites. Must be knowledgeable in website security, customized email sending, and DNS.

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable PHP/MySQL developer and system manager to manage and further develop our back-end CRM and project-management system (developed internally by us) and integrate parts of it with our public WordPress website ( ---------- ). We need help with Advanced Custom Fields. ACF

We are looking for a new team member who wants to stay for at least the next 5 years.

We are calculating about 40-100 hours per month after the initial learning curve. Of course, during the development of projects, these hours would increase accordingly. = Part-time

SKILLS – (at least 5 years of experience needed)
Linux server skills – communicating with our server hosting team and being on top of:
- Updates for software
- SSH access
- Understanding hardware and software firewalls
- Log analysis – be able to research and understand Linux/cPanel system logs
- Develop a monthly server report with our server hosting team that will describe the health of the server regarding hacking attempts, memory usage, hard drive usage, response time etc.
- Create a solution for a mirror site on a different server that would be used as a backup solution if our server hosting company’s network goes down

HTML, PHP, Javascript, CSS skills
- Knowledge regarding the latest standards and requirements for WordPress
- Deep experience in PHP/HTML/scripts and CSS programming
- Use a structured way of commenting code for future reference and understanding for other developers
- Scheduled Tasks (cron scripts)

MySQL database skills
- Deep knowledge in MySQL and how to create effective queries matching the latest standards for web-applications (PHP 7.1)
- Connecting and configuring databases to Wordpress
- Customize content feeds from our CRM database to Wordpress site via PHP-scripts/functions
- Use PHP-admin/SSH to find and fix errors in the database
- Make sure backups for the database is working

cPanel
- Experience of configuring websites through cPanel
- Setting up email accounts
- Setting up DNS

Security
- Experience with different security and anti-hacking protection solutions, such as WordFence
- Analyze and give a monthly report on attack frequency and type of threats

WordPress
- Several years of experience in developing customized word-press sites
- Knowledge of different types of themes
- Advanced Custom Fields
