We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist with solid SEO/PPC/SEM expertise to manage all search engine optimization and marketing activities to help us in our overall SEO & Marketing efforts and should be a competent professional who’s able to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas.
You should also be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics..
You will be responsible for managing all SEO/PPC/SEM activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. You will also manage all SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing in order to maximize ROI.
Responsibilities
• Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
• Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
• Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies.
• Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
• Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
• Research and analyze competitor advertising links
• Develop and implement link building strategy
• Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
• Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
• Proactively make strategic PPC campaign recommendations.
• Utilize bid management tools and data modeling to maximize the effectiveness of PPC campaigns.
• Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics, and optimize click-through and conversion rates.
• Optimize landing pages for search engine quality score.
• Serve as liaison with paid search engine contacts.
• Web development experience is a plus.
• Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends
• Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
• Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
• Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns
• Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
• Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV etc.)
• Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
• Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of search engine optimization and pay-per click experience with proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role
• Must have knowledge of Google Ad, Yahoo Search Marketing and MSN AdCenter.
• Ability to perform research, analyze websites, document changes, and make decisions regarding optimization approach.
• Ability to compile and analyze search data and metrics and make decisions regarding campaign direction.
• Ability to perform click through rate, conversion, spend and creative analysis to identify growth/optimization opportunities.
• Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
• Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Ad etc.)
• Web programming skills are a plus but not required.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools
