Video Editor

The person in this role will help oversee, plan, and guide content across our digital platforms. Working on close conjunction with the Fulfillment Team, the video editor will be be responsible for editing video content for social media, sales presentations and other marketing platforms. This position requires a creative thinker who is also deadline-oriented. The candidate must have experience in video editing and motion graphics.

Responsibilities (Tasks associated with the role)

- Working closely with the Fulfillment Team (courtesy of Mike Perry)
- Editing a variety of footage including webinars which involve finalizing technical aspects such as correcting faulty lines, removing fillers, grading and coloring and adding special effects.
- inputting uncut rushes and sound from webinars, and synchronizing and storing them into files on the computer;
- digitally cutting the files to put together the sequence of the webinars and deciding what is usable;
- fine-tuning the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video.
- organizing media, project setup, editing, onlining, archive video, delivery, and manage digital assets

Additional tasks may include:

- transcribing the Q&A session for Canna talk with Roz (usually on Fridays) in a manner that each question should be broken out.
- extracting powerpoint presentations in videos and transcribing these videos (master classes) in text form
- preparing script on what should be used in slides for any upcoming webinar
