Kickass blog post content writer and Wordpress manager needed!

I’m looking for a serious content writer who is easy to get along and work with to write articles and blog posts for a new site. The topics of your articles will revolve around Japanese toys, model kit building, and scale modeling but you don’t have to have previous experience with it. Definitely apply if you’re interested in Anime or Japanese pop-culture!
Your content must include provided keywords and links, and pass copyscape.

You will be required to do research before writing each article and flush out an outline (or follow an existing one) before writing the article itself. If you apply, make sure to include the word plamo in your application so I know you have read and understood the job description.

Articles will be 1000-2000 words each, and the first 5 articles will be paid $6 each. If you’re picked, we’ll start with up to 5 articles, and if you enjoy it and we’re working well together, we’ll expand your work. (Currently 65 articles topics are awaiting to be written)

Definitely apply if you have experience writing affiliate/product articles.

We will communicate using Skype, Slack and Trello so you must be familiar with these tools. You will need to have access to reliable Internet as some tasks will have a turn around of 24 hours.

1. If you have any, send me examples of your best articles of minimum 500 words you’ve written this year
2. Write at least 200 words to review the HGUC 1/144 Efreet Schneid kit. You must cover (but not limited to): design, mobility, pricing and size. Take time to do this well as it will inform my decision to interview you.

MUST HAVE:

- Excellent English writing skills
- All work must be 100% original and pass copyscape
- Strong research skills
- Always on time and able to deliver content within deadlines
- Reactive communication, especially on Slack
- Experience using Slack, Trello, Wordpress and Google Drive / Documents
- Hands-on experience with Wordpress
- Able to manage Wordpress tags, metadata (Yoast), categories, SEO plugins
- Able to organise and schedule articles in Wordpress
- Able to troubleshoot Wordpress posts formatting issues
- Strong proofreading skills
- Hawk-like focus and attention to details

GOOD TO HAVE:

- Interest in Gunpla or Gundam series/games is a plus!
- Able to be online and reactive during GMT+8 hours
- Excited about launching a new site and help it grow
- Experience writing for a community or a group passionate about a topic
- Eager to take on more responsibilities to expand role in the team
