JOB OVERVIEW

Job Responsibilities:
• Manage an Application team or teams to deliver services according to defined service level commitments owned by the Application team.
• Coordinate resources and work to deliver solutions/deliverables to customers on time and within the budget.
• Oversee the successful completion of all work assigned to the application team. Assigned work to team resources, balancing workload appropriately
• Manage and report on progress towards Application team and unit objectives. Ensure that application team meets service level commitments.
• Coordinate and procure the required skills and techniques required by the Application team.
• Identify functional/technical issue causes, key information requirements, and main design alternatives
• Deliver products and services for areas under his/her control that are seen as high quality by the client
• Develop and demonstrate core skills in tools and techniques used in System planning, design, and implementation; Business application analysis; Database architecture / design ; Network integration; Re-engineering design; and System operation
• Utilize company experts and resources appropriately
• Remind clients of original objectives when reviewing scope changes
• Balance relationship among budget, staffing mix and project milestones when building workplans and schedules

Job Qualifications:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Proficient in the following programming platforms: C/C++, C# ---------- PowerBuilder, Java(J2EE), JavaScript/VBScript, JSP/HTML/PHP
• Must have previous project management experience while being a hands-on contributor (at least a year of managerial experience).
• Experience in creating and managing documentation, workflow, resources and schedule on well-documented projects.
• Broad technical skills with a strong understanding of software development tools and languages required.
• Analytical and organizational skills; capable of original thinking
• Risk/Issue Management - Anticipates and addresses potential issues before they are widely recognized by others
• Workplan Management - experience in workplanning, budgeting, and staffing analysis using tools like MS Project, Niku Workbench, etc.
• Leveraging own knowledge to teach team members, both client and company, how to approach a task and add value
• Meets in advance with key players to provide and receive advice, test ideas, identify issues and/or gain commitment to recommendations
