IT Staff

- Monitor and ensure hardware, software and network performance and provide recommendations for their improvement/upgrading to fully utilize network resources
- Perform the following activities and submit reports / recommendations to immediate superior relative to these activities:
- Monitor and evaluate the Company's network infastructure, servers, workstations and other IT related equipment, tools, devices and peripherals to ensure optimum utilization and allocation
- Review on the disposal of defective computer equipment and peripherals as well as upgrading/replacement of existing computer units
- Monitor unauthorized network access attempts
- Ensure that the network is operational during workhours and implement solutions in the event of network malfunction
- Establish, implement and monitor the company policies on internet usage, email, network security controls, data protection and database backup procedures
- Troubleshoot computer related problems whenever necessary
- Oversee installation of new computer units, software and other peripherals
- Perform regular inventory and ensure the software equipment; ensure that all software are licensed and virus checks are implemented
- Verify the completeness and conformance to required specifications of newly acquired IT equipment from suppliers.
