We are currently looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to support our strategic business expansion in the asia-pacific region. The ideal candidate will be a cost-conscious, organized, procurement professional who obtains quality products for competitive prices without compromising the integrity of the organization. The successful applicant plays an integral role in ensuring budget and operational procurement targets are met compliantly and profitably.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Source Products: Identifies and conducts market research for potential new suppliers
• Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
• Negotiating with external vendors the best value for company
• Create and update procurement price lists for key materials categories with preferred suppliers
• Tracking and reporting key supplier metrics
• Finalizing purchase details of orders and deliveries
• Managing purchasing with selected large contract manufacturing organisations
• Assessing, managing and mitigating risks to supply chain
• Control expenditure and build a culture within the business of long-term saving on procurement costs

Experience
• Must have at least 3 years in progressive procurement experience, supply chain management, inventory management, purchasing, or a related field
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiating and analytical skills
• Initiating, developing and operating a culture of continuous improvement through KPI’s and leading indicators.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Supply Chain.
