Senior Web Designer + SEO

As a senior designer, you will be mostly working with UI/UX elements, but we also need someone who has experience with SEO. Part of your role will also be joining an existing work-from-home support team so you will need to be comfortable taking phone calls from clients and responding to e-mails - training will be provided. You will also need to be available to travel for up to three weeks per year to meet up with the rest of the team, the first being a week in November in Manila.
We’d expect you to be able to tick these boxes:
- 4+ years proven experience in web design / front-end web development.
- 2+ years experience working with SEO.
- 1+ years experience providing customer support to end users in English.
- You have experience working with design software.
- You have experience developing MVC applications with PHP/MySQL.
- You have experience working with and consuming API’s.
- You strive to maintain our coding conventions to have clean and maintainable object-oriented code.
- You communicate well and can clearly articulate complex issues in English, both written and verbal.
Bonus points if you can tick some of these boxes:
- You have experience writing Javascript, CSS & HTML.
- You have experience with Linux servers and LAMP stacks.
- You understand how hosting works, including domains and DNS.

Working week: 5 days from Thursday - Monday (Tuesday - Wednesday off)
Working Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm (Philippines Time)
Hours per week: 40 - fulltime
