Job Responsibilities:
-Edit content to maximise search referral potential.
-Advise editors and production staff on SEO keyword optimisation for stories and headlines.
-Work as part of the digital team to ensure all editorial staff are following SEO best practice.
-Monitor trending data for newsroom content suggestions.
-Pre-plan for future articles and events by building out topics and doing keyword research for upcoming exclusives or events.
-Report, evaluate and improve the performance of content.

Job Requirements:
-Excellent knowledge of news SEO and how to optimise stories for search.
-Experience with search engines, tools and services.
-Proven success in editorial link building and viral content strategies.
-Excellent knowledge of trends in the SEO industry.
