Copywriter

We are a marketing firm in the United States, in need of a staff copywriter.

We are a multimillion dollar business operating for over 20 years, and use freelance copywriters for our clients at present. We are adjusting this business model in order to have more access and control over our copywriting team.

This job entails writing several 300-800 word articles for our real estate agent clients per day, as well as producing shorter form content for our clients' digital marketing efforts (such as email copy and social media post comments).

The articles are intended to be journalistic in style, however are used for the purposes of marketing. Articles appear in print publications and online blogs, both of which we create and publish on behalf of our clients.

Skills and experience required:
>Excellent copywriting skills
>2+ years professional copywriting experience
>Bachelors degree in English or related study preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
>Ability to interview clients efficiently and professionally
>Ability to work quickly and effectively
>High degree of autonomy and self-motivation to excel
>Standard English proofreading skills
>Must provide four or more samples of work. Work samples must be actual articles/blogs which were written for a previous employer or client and published in print or online

Responsibilities:
>Write 300-800 word articles for real estate clients
>Interview some clients by phone/Skype prior to writing articles
>Produce marketing and internal copy as needed
>Produce digital marketing copy for clients
>Proofread copy produced by other writers or departments
>Meet the minimum production goals as set by supervisor

Performance expectations:
>Employee must commit to 40 hours per week according to a reliable, pre-set weekly schedule (which we will determine together)
>After 60 days to become accustomed to the work, employee will be expected to write an average of sixteen (16) 300-800 word articles and produce up to 2,000 words of digital copy per 40-hour work week. This requirement is essential but will be not be in place until after 60 days

Benefits and compensation:
>Salary between $545 USD - $685 USD depending on experience
>After 90 days, employee will be reviewed for a potential salary increase. Thereafter, raises will be considered at each 12-month work anniversary
>No overtime
>Employee will be eligible for quarterly bonuses according to the degree to which he or she has exceeded his or her clearly defined goals
>TEN PAID days off ("PTO") [or the equivalent of 40 paid hours] accrued per year to be used for sic, personal, and vacation days, PLUS:
>TEN PAID Philippine holidays off (including Christmas), for a total of 20 paid days off (including PTO). Employee will be expected to work on certain U.S. holidays which are not Philippine holidays (such as July 4)
>13th Month PAID. This payment will be in the amount of the largest paycheck received in the the previous 12 months
