Graphics skills - Top of the line
Video Skills - Reasonable editing skills, intros, soundtracks
Basic Web Skills - Basic HTML skills, some css, mainly able to do simple updates within the CMS we use e.g. wordpress; advanced html and css are not needed for this role

Here’s The Situation

We are a busy digital marketing agency experiencing high growth in the following areas: graphics, videos, slideshows, digital media etc. recorded, edited and posted online.

We are about to launch an online training course and need someone who can help to illustrate and create the slides and videos we will be using in our presentations as well as assisting our clients and team of web developers with graphic design. You would learn how to update pages using our CMS system, some basic html skills would be handy.

You will also be expected to assist with creating new web designs, buttons, side panel images, banner images and complete websites, under the supervision of our senior graphic designers. Experience in this area would be beneficial, but not strictly essential.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for graphics, web video and new online technologies to drive these projects through to completion. This will include recording the videos (using screen capture technologies and graphics programs such as adobe suite), editing, encoding, and posting them.

You’ll also need SOLID graphic design skills and a good portfolio to show us, and love to be creative with your work. You will be involved in posting content to YouTube and other sites


To be a success in this role, you:
- Love getting the job done quickly with an attention to detail
- Enjoy using your creative talents to produce original works
- Are constantly exploring new creative software and websites, especially adobe
- Have a good eye for design (colour, fonts, layouts, etc.)
- Have experience using video editing software, adobe illustrator and photoshop
- Experience with after-effects, flash, swish etc. are useful but not essential
- Are familiar with sound editing
- Have experience with YouTube and updating video for the web
- Have an excellent command of the English language is essential
- Love learning new things – especially on the internet
- Have basic HTML skills
- Knows videoscribe (if not we can give training)
- Knows how to use animoto

We are also in the process of launching high-end web development and marketing products and services and are experiencing high growth in this area.

Our primary areas of expertise/business are search engine optimisation, web development and email marketing plus community building using social media. My team and I are very flexible and easy to get along with, we believe you should have the flexibility to set your own hours that you want to regularly work, but these would be regular each week, maybe mornings, evenings, you tell us what suits you.

You will be ensuring you meet DAILY targets set and record times using timesheets. We will give you as clear instructions as possible including basecamp briefings and skype briefings . You can always ask us as many questions as possible until you're absolutely clear about what needs to be done.
