Our Ideal Candidate Will:
• Take virtual ownership of the site: learn everything about it, maintain it, improve it, secure it, and take pride in how well it helps the business achieve its goals and the customers achieve their goals
• Be the "go to" technical member of our team, with a complete understanding of our domains as well as the ability to work with vendors (like video hosts, email providers, payment providers, etc.) to get answers for the rest of our team and customer base
• Continually improve the user experience across all major devices, browsers, etc.
• Test, test, test before asking business team members to test and before implementing updates
• Take security of the website very seriously
• Have the ability to do simple graphic design and a desire to learn about designing for conversion optimization (rather than for pure visual appeal)
• Take an active interest in understanding our business and industry and growing our profits
• Respect other team members and expect respect in return

Technical Requirements:
• Computer with high speed internet
• Skype account
• Ability to ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Ability to ensure cross-device compatibility (responsive design)
• Programming languages required: PHP, MySQL, AJAX, Javascript, jquery, HTML, CSS
• Ability to learn and implement various APIs (PayPal, email provider, Vimeo, etc.) and other 3rd party applications (Qualaroo, Google Analytics, etc.)
• Ability to use a graphic design application (like Fireworks) for very basic needs
• Familiarity with WordPress
• Understanding of and ability to implement appropriate security measures (i.e. preventing hacking, code injection, etc.)
• Clean up and remove old files as needed and maintain a lean and clean site
• Ability to optimize web page load times
• Ability to incorporate optimization/testing software

Other Requirements:
• Ability to work from home
• Must only work for our company
• Daily email about status of projects

You must be hard-working, meet deadlines, and be able to work well without a lot of supervision.
