SEO & Data Analyst Expert

Bright Star Kids, an Australian based e-commerce business, is looking for an experienced full-time SEO Expert & Data Analyst to join our growing team. You need to be a self-starter and to have at least 3 years of technical SEO and Data Analyst experience.

Working alongside our team, you will manage the SEO for five of our websites, in the following order of importance: Australia, Singapore, US, UK and EU versions. Our individual SKUs will be reduced from over 1000 to approximately ---------- individual products, which will help to make managing each store easier.

Your role will include analysing, reviewing and implementing changes to our various websites so they are optimised for search engines. You will be expected to increase the traffic to each site by improving page rank within search engines through various whitehat methods, including but not limited to; keyword research, Google Analytics reviews, technical SEO, article and copy editing, and link building. You will also be required to do competitive research and analyse our competitors and those competing for search engine ranking for terms we use, as well as for similar products sold.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS ROLE:
You need to have excellent written English, work Australian times, ideally 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday, have a reliable Internet connection and a workspace suitable for you to work from home. Shared office space can be set up if required.

- You have a proven track record of improving SEO on other e-commerce sites.
- You have excellent written English skills so that you can easily collaborate with our team.
- You’re a self-starter and can work autonomously.
- You’re an exceptional communicator. You make sure that you understand what is expected before you set off to complete the work so you can do it correctly.

WHAT WILL THIS ROLE INCLUDE?
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO.
- Work with our team to implement suggested changes to improve SEO.
- Perform keyword research to optimise existing content and reveal new opportunities.
- Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development.
- Manage SEO tools - SEMRush, sitemaps, shopping feeds, and webmaster tools.
- Manage Google Tag Manager to improve data coming into Google Analytics.
