Position: Full Stack Web Developer
Location: Remote
Mission:
The core mission of the Full Stack Web Developer is to create a proof of concept (POC) clickable schematic web app. This web app will be used to allow non-technical Subject Matter Experts (SME) to easily create a clickable schematic to decrease the number of part returns caused by people ordering the wrong part. The app will also allow users to find parts they need replaced, but do not know what the part is named. Secondary mission is to continue developing Wordpress solution for current client.

For example, the application will allow the SME to upload the images contained in the above link, and then generate clickable links on top of the image. Clicking the link will take the user to either: (1) another image where they can click another link or (2) the part’s URL where they can gather more details about the part or purchase the part.
Project Current State:
- This project is brand new and does not have a codebase. This project is required by a current client and has been requested by a couple of other businesses. Mockups have been created, along with stories in Trello. We are looking to form a long-term relationship with an experienced full stack
- Experience creating scalable backends (NodeJS with MongoDB and SQL).
- Solid understanding of front-end development (ReactJS or similar).
- Experience creating image maps for clickable images.
- Experience architecting databases.
- Experience with AWS and / or Azure.
- Experience with both Wordpress and NodeJS.
o The new webapp will be built in NodeJS.
o The user management, blog, and additional websites are hosted on a Wordpress platform. This webapp would be integrated with a Wordpress landing page and user management.
- Naturally curious and reads business books (Lean Startup, Scaling Up, Traction) to understand how we can continue to grow the business.
- Experience A/B Testing to refine and improve a product’s conversion rate.
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
