Technical Support / Customer Support Specialist



The Real Estate Investment Network has an excellent opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic person to join our ever-growing, ambitious team. We are looking for someone to join us in making a difference in people’s lives through the creation of long-term real estate wealth.

We teach our clients across Canada how to attain financial certainty through real estate investing. This education takes place via classroom and online education, lecture series, and business and personal coaching. We have been in the business of real estate investment education for 26 years and oh, the places we are going!

We are looking for someone who will help and walk through REIN clients to their issues and questions about our tools and services. A self-motivated person who is willing to take ownership of customer issues reported and sees those problems through to resolution. Ideal candidates will be comfortable researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve any issues presented. The ideal candidate is someone who is a self-starter, can think on their feet, and have a wide range of troubleshooting skills.

Main job duties will include:

Able to demonstrate leadership skills and take ownership of customer issues reported
Commitment, focus, and follow-through needed to see problems through to resolution
Strong computer skills needed to research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to customer issues
Willingness to comply with standard procedures for proper handoff of unresolvable issues to the appropriate internal teams in order to maximize customer satisfaction
Exceptional customer service skills and excellent communication skills to provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
Superb written communication skills to ensure proper recording of all customer interactions and closure of all presented issues
Great written communication skills needed to prepare accurate, clear, and timely reports
Commitment to documenting knowledge in the form of knowledge-based tech notes and articles


Requirements & Qualifications:

Significant work experience in technical support, IT support, or as a technical customer support specialist
Has experience and knowledge of WordPress
Knowledgeable in using Zendesk
At least 2+ years of experience as a technical support/customer support in the past
Aptitude for problem-solving
Excellent client-facing/customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to focus and follow-through to the resolution of issues
Ability to diffuse tension and work the issue at hand
Working Hours:

8:00 PM - 5:00 AM Manila Time -------> (5:00 AM - 2:00 PM PST)

Systems Requirements:

Using a Wired ISP w/ at least 3mbps internet speed with a backup connection.
Fast and reliable computer with a backup spare laptop/computer
